On Sunday, October 5 at 4:30 p.m., the Music for a Sunday Afternoon concert series continues with a performance by acclaimed cellist Andrew Rammon and pianist Gary Boerckel. The program will feature works by Edvard Grieg, Manuel de Falla, and Astor Piazzolla.
While admission is free and open to the public, attendees are warmly encouraged to show their appreciation by giving a free-will donation to support The Gatehouse, a local organization dedicated to serving those in need.
About the Artists
Andrew Rammon has been the cellist of the Grammy-nominated Eaken Piano Trio since 2003, touring internationally across China, Italy, Germany, France, and Switzerland. He also performs with the Bridge Quartet (Susquehanna University) and the 9th Street Quartet (DC metro area) and teaches at Susquehanna University. Pianist Gary Boerckel is a frequent collaborator and distinguished performer in the region. Together, they promise an afternoon of stirring and memorable music.
