About Us
Welcome to Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville, Pennsylvania! We strive to be a vibrant community where all are welcome to hear God's word, celebrate the love of Christ, and grow together in faith through worship, study, and prayer. We are committed to applying Christ's teachings within ourselves, our families, and both our local and global communities
At Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, we are a family united by faith, rooted in Danville since 1828. Our doors are open to all who seek a welcoming space to explore faith, connect with others, and deepen their spiritual journey. Whether you are seeking answers to life's questions, yearning for meaningful friendships, or simply desiring to be part of something greater than yourself, we invite you to find a home with us.
Worship
At Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, we offer two distinct Rite II worship experiences to meet the diverse needs of our community.
All are invited to participate in Holy Communion by receiving either a blessing or the sacrament of bread and wine, regardless of age.
Whether you are seeking a contemplative or vibrant worship experience, we invite you to join us in worship and experience the transformative power of God's love through the Rite II liturgy.
You can also join us online!
8:00 AM
Spoken Eucharist
This service is a contemplative haven for early risers. Utilizing the contemporary language of Rite II, this service invites you to pause, reflect, and connect with God amidst the busyness of life. Through scripture readings, prayers, and the sharing of the Eucharist, we seek a deeper understanding of God's presence in our lives.
10:30 AM
Choral Eucharist
This service also embraces the Rite II liturgy but offers a more vibrant and engaging style. Incorporating scripture, prayers, hymns, and a sermon, this service is known for its joyful and meaningful atmosphere. The heart of this service is the Great Thanksgiving, where we remember Christ's sacrifice and share in the consecrated bread and wine.
Our services are live-streamed on
and
and are available for viewing after the service.
