Welcome to
Christ Memorial Episcopal Church

Loving God. Loving Neighbor. Sharing Christ’s Love through Worship, Community, and Service.

At Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, we believe faith is something you live, not just something you profess. Whether you’re exploring, reconnecting, or seeking deeper community, there is a place for you here.

Plan your visit. 156 E. Market Street, Danville, PA 8:00 AM — Quiet, contemplative Holy Eucharist (spoken, no music) 10:30 AM — Vibrant Holy Eucharist with music.

You Are Welcome Here

No matter where you come from or how you arrived here,
no matter where you go after the service today,
no matter whether you believe or doubt,
no matter what you feel—or don’t feel—today,

YOU are welcome here.
Come just as you are, and know that the God who knows you by name and loves you deeply desires to be in ever closer relationship with you.

We’re so glad you’re here.

Worship with Us

We gather every Sunday to celebrate God’s love through beautiful liturgy, inspiring music, meaningful preaching, and Holy Communion.
At the heart of our life together is worship that is joyful, sacred, and deeply welcoming.

Whether you prefer a quiet early service or a vibrant celebration with music and community, you’ll find a place to pray, connect, and grow in faith.

The Rev. Lisa Work joined Christ Memorial Episcopal Church as rector in June 2024, bringing with her a passion for loving God and loving our neighbors. With a background in education and community service, she is committed to celebrating the unique fabric of our community and the experiences that connect us. Rev. Work envisions Christ Memorial as a welcoming space to reflect on what it means to love God and love our neighbors - the two greatest commandments as taught by Jesus. She and her husband, Mark, are excited to be part of the Danville community and explore the region's natural beauty.
